One of the most important things nowadays with tight quarters in engine bays is keeping under-hood temperatures down, to prevent fire hazards, as well as oil coking in your oil line if it crosses over the turbine housing, and keep as much btu's in the turbine as possible.
Our goal with these turbo blankets was to be one of the best in the Canadian market. Inside we have foil layer, .250 thick high temp batting with a barrier of ballistic Kevlar, and lastly the outer Kevlar layer. All inner edges are reinforced with a wire mesh to prevent fraying. After breaking or bending the hooks on competitors blankets over the years, we decided that won't work for us. That said we used billet stainless dowels to give you something strong to secure it with, you can use a spring or mechanics wire to tie it tight.
I just received my turbo blanket and I am super impressed with the quality and thickness of it. I ran the car and got it nice and hot. I can grab the outside of the blanket and it's still cool to the touch! I had an Amazon blanket before this which got very hot on the outside. Super happy with my purchase and I would highly recommend to anyone.

These things are phenomenal! My pre intercooler IAT (under hood temps) dropped almost 40° when I added this blanket. And if your car needs TLC like mine it's incredibly convenient to not have to tap dance around that turbine housing!
