TNT4R T4 Turbochargers

The True North Turbos TNT4R T4 series is built on the 400 frame — the same frame standard as S400-series turbochargers — so every unit here is a direct bolt-on replacement for an S400-frame T4 turbo. Your manifold, downpipe flange, clamp, compressor discharge, and oil drain all carry over.

Ranging from 67mm to 88mm, the lineup supports strong street power up through 1400–1520HP. Every TNT4R turbo is designed, machined, assembled, and balanced in Canada by Black Sheep Industries.

Ball Bearing vs. Journal Bearing

Standard TNT4R T4 turbos use a ball bearing center cartridge for quick spool-up and strong street manners. The Journal Bearing variants are built for higher-power applications where the additional durability and airflow capacity of a journal bearing center section is the priority.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are TNT4R T4 turbos a direct replacement for an S400?

Yes. TNT4R turbos are built on the 400 frame, so the manifold, downpipe flange, clamp, compressor discharge and oil drain from an existing S400-frame T4 installation all carry over. Match the compressor size and it bolts into the same place.

What is the TNT4R T4 turbo series?

TNT4R T4 is True North Turbos' 400-frame T4 turbo lineup, ranging from 67mm to 88mm wheel sizes, built for import, domestic, and diesel performance applications up to 1400–1520HP.

Are TNT4R T4 turbos built in Canada?

Yes. Every TNT4R turbo is designed, machined, assembled, and balanced in Canada by Black Sheep Industries.
