Returns

We accept returns for 30 days from the date your order is delivered.

To be eligible, the item must be uninstalled, in the same condition you received it, in its original packaging, with all hardware and fittings included. A turbocharger that has been mounted, plumbed, or run cannot be returned. Once oil and exhaust gas have been through it, it can't go back into stock. If you're unsure whether a part is right for your build, use the Turbo Spec Form before you install it and we'll confirm fitment.

You'll need your receipt or proof of purchase.

Who pays for what

If the item is defective, damaged in transit, or we sent the wrong part, we cover it completely. We pay return shipping, and there's no restocking fee. Contact us as soon as you inspect the order and we'll make it right.

If you ordered the wrong part or changed your mind, return shipping is your responsibility, and a 20% restocking fee applies.

Starting a return

Email sales@blacksheepindustries.ca or call 780-982-8376 before sending anything back. We'll confirm the return and send you instructions.

Items sent back without an approved return will not be accepted.

Defective turbos and warranty claims

If a turbo fails in service, that's a warranty matter rather than a return. See the Turbo Warranty page, and get in touch through Rebuild / Warranty Contact. Don't send a failed unit back without contacting us first.

What we can't take back

Custom and commissioned work. Anything we machine or build to your specification rather than sell from the catalogue: a custom compressor cover, a one-off housing, or a complete turbo built to a spec we don't otherwise list. Work like this is made for one customer and one combination, so there's no second buyer for it. Custom orders are non-returnable once machining has started.

Garage Sale and clearance stock. Items in the Garage Sale collection and anything sold as clearance are final sale.

Also non-returnable:

• Gift cards
• Any item that has been installed

To be clear: a discounted price on a regular catalogue item does not make it final sale. Our drop-in turbos frequently run at a reduced price and they're returnable on the same terms as everything else. Only Garage Sale and clearance stock is excluded.

Exchanges

The quickest route is to return the original item and place a new order once the return is approved. That way you're not waiting on the return to clear before the replacement ships.

Refunds

Once we've received and inspected the return we'll let you know whether it's approved. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method, less the restocking fee where it applies. Allow time for your bank or card issuer to post it, usually a few business days after we process it on our end.

US orders

We cover US customs and duties on the way out. See Shop With Confidence. Duties and brokerage already paid on an order are not refundable on a change-of-mind return, since we can't recover them.
