Every Felder Kustom Fabrication part is fabricated after your order is placed, so lead times run longer than off-the-shelf parts. Lead time varies with our current build queue — contact us before ordering if you need an exact date.
The FKF 2001-2004 LB7 Duramax S400 Kit is a full turn key, plug and play kit to drop an S400-based charger into an LB7. It uses 100% 304 stainless steel and 6061 aluminum — absolutely zero mild steel anywhere in the kit.
This kit was designed to use the stock one-piece Y bridge and cold side intercooler pipe, but works with any aftermarket Y bridge kit.
LLY note: this kit will work on a 2004.5-2005 LLY with a non-California LB7 style Y bridge and cold side tube. Please let us know if you plan on installing this kit on an LLY.
What is included
- 1x 2" 304 stainless steel T4 pedestal
- 1x stock turbo oil feed billet plug
- 1x new turbo drain gasket
- 1x braided 12AN turbo drain line
- 1x S400 body billet turbo drain fitting and 2x S400 drain bolts
- 1x stainless steel turbo pedestal, 1x T4 turbo gasket
- 4x turbo pedestal studs and 4x pedestal flare nuts
- 2x billet coolant feed plugs and 2x hose clamps
- 1x O-ringed block oil feed fitting, 1x braided oil feed line, 1x NPT turbo feed fitting
- 1x 3" aluminum hot side tube, 1x 3" boot, 2x 3" T-bolt clamps, 1x hot side pipe clamp
- 1x 5" intake with MAF bung hardware, 1x 5" boot, 2x 5" T-bolt clamps
- 1x 5" air filter and clamp
- 1x 3.5" stainless steel downpipe and 1x downpipe clamp
- 1x driver side transmission dipstick tube
- 1x step by step install instructions booklet
If you do not have and are not planning on purchasing a forward facing thermostat housing, we will include a modified upper coolant tube with your kit.
Fitment
2001-2004 GM 2500HD / 3500HD with the 6.6L LB7 Duramax. Also fits 2004.5-2005 LLY with a non-California LB7 style Y bridge and cold side tube.
- Will not fit a California Emissions style LB7.
- PPE or similar extended manifolds and up pipes may require a small modification in the downpipe for clearance of the 3.5" tubing.

For turbo sizing questions, reach out and we would be happy to help. If you are not using one of our turbochargers, state the brand and size in the cart notes so we can ensure proper fitment of flanges to your turbo configuration.
Powder coat options

What is the lead time on the LB7 S400 kit?
Build and coat time is 2-4 weeks. If you are ordering a True North Turbos charger with the kit, allow approximately 15 days for the turbo on top of that.
Will this kit fit an LLY?
It will work on a 2004.5-2005 LLY with a non-California LB7 style Y bridge and cold side tube. Let us know at order time if you plan to install it on an LLY.
Will it fit a California Emissions LB7?
No. This kit will not fit a California Emissions style LB7.
Do I need to keep my stock Y bridge?
No. The kit was designed around the stock one-piece Y bridge and cold side intercooler pipe, but it works with any aftermarket Y bridge kit.
What if I am not using an FKF or True North turbo?
State the brand and size of your turbo in the cart notes so we can make sure the flanges match your configuration.
