The FKF 2017-2019 L5P Duramax Upper Coolant Tube replaces the factory plastic upper coolant crossover with mandrel-bent 304 stainless steel. It is a direct-fit replacement for the 6.6L L5P Duramax and a common upgrade when the factory tube cracks, weeps at the seams, or has to come out for a turbo kit or intake install.

Why this one does not leak

We use some of the highest quality boots and clamps on the market. We know how frustrating it is to have a brand new coolant tube leak through the boots. Multi-ply silicone boots combined with even-pressure T-bolt clamps solve that problem for good.

Does it fit the 2020 and newer L5P?

No. This tube is designed for the 2017-2019 L5P Duramax. The 2020+ trucks use a different upper coolant routing.

Do I need to buy boots and clamps separately?

No. Two silicone boots and four T-bolt clamps are included in the kit.

Can I get it powder coated to match my build?

Yes. Select “Custom Colour” and note your Prismatic Powders colour in the cart notes. Custom coating is included in the build and coat lead time.
