The FKF 2017-2025 L5P Duramax Hood Stack Kit is a hand-built 3.5" mandrel-bent 304 stainless hood stack for the 6.6L L5P. This is not a mass produced overseas pipe — every one is TIG welded and back purged in brushed 304 stainless for years of trouble-free use.

Stack placement and clearance
This stack is placed approximately 9" off centre to the passenger side of the truck so a hood stack tip clears the majority of cowlings on newer trucks. We picked a happy medium for hood tip placement and under-hood routing.
On 2017-2019 trucks the stack sits close to the rear cowling but clears the passenger side cowling. For that reason we recommend an octagon hood stack tip, since its tabs can be bent to accommodate cowlings close to the exit location. A photo is attached showing the approximate stack exit location on 2017-2019 trucks.
Install notes
- The ram air system will have to be modified or removed for access through the hood.
- We recommend securing your heater hoses to the side.
- Will not ship to California.
